Earthquakes. Fires. Volcanic eruptions.

No, I don’t think the world is ending.

Our planet earth is alive. She evolves, adapts and grows.

If earthquakes didn’t happen, our continents would look very different. There will be fewer coast lines, fewer life form variations.
If volcanoes didn’t erupt? The Philippines wouldn’t be as it is today.
If fires didn’t exist, some plants/ trees wouldn’t thrive.

I hope we can still appreciate the earthquakes, the bushfires, (normal rate/natural ones), and the volcano erupting, these occurrences – they are not good nor evil. They just are.

Not everything that can be harmful to you is evil by nature.

It is us who keep on putting labels according to how things in our lives impact us and make us feel.

But in reality the only meanings are the ones we impose ourselves.

The world is not unfair.
Earth is not dangerous.
You are not a victim.

And though my heart goes out to everyone affected by all these… humans, wildlife, economies…

I stand in awe and humble respect for this beautiful planet we are on.
