And most of the time, it’s the closest people that would be hurt the most.
When we prioritise healing for ourselves, we take a step closer to “becoming the best version of us” to show up better for the people around us – those who love us the most.
Free yourself from the traps of emotional trauma and pain.
Show yourself love and compassion.
Forgive yourself for your mistakes.
Forgive others for their offence- not for them but for you.
You can only give what you truly have, and if all you have is pain because it’s what you’ve been holding on to, then it is pain that you will unknowingly give to others.
When you fill yourself up with love, understanding and compassion (for yourself) instead, you become capable of giving true love to others as well
