In case no one has ever told you before…
It’s okay to not be okay.
I’m not going to try to make you feel better.
In fact you should feel that sadness, that hurt, or that fear.

There’s nothing wrong with you for feeling these emotions.

That’s exactly what they are, emotions.
And that’s the only thing they require – to be felt.

It’s okay if you feel that your life isn’t perfect.
It’s okay that you’re not better, stronger, smarter, healthier, happier, more successful.

This phase that you are in? Really feel it. Really be present.

Curl up in a ball and hide, wrap yourself in a blanket.
Cry if you have to.

Don’t see anyone if you don’t feel like it.
Stress eat if you want.
Stay in your bed the whole day.

This is your own journey.
Wherever you are in your life right now, that’s exactly where you’re supposed to be.

Life wasn’t made to be all sunshines and rainbows.

There is nothing “wrong” with you.
You’re human.
The sooner you realise that and accept it?
The sooner you’ll grow from this.

Tired?

Just rest.

Tomorrow will be different.

And if it isn’t? You still have the next day.

Take your time.

Feel it. Accept it. Let go. Move on.

P.S.
Just remember one thing: 

Never compare yourself to others.
That’s the biggest disservice to yourself you can possibly do.
